Huang detailed his approach, saying, “To me, , no task is beneath me.” He then recalled his career prior to his entry into the tech industry and mentioned, “I used to be a dishwasher, and I mean that, and I used to clean toilets.” To lighten the mood, Huang added, “I’ve have cleaned more toilets than all of you combined.” The NVIDIA CEO then emphasized the need to recognize work in its true essence. He said, “I don’t know what to tell you, that’s life, and so you can’t show me a task that’s beneath me.”

Jensen Huang further spoke of how work of all kinds contributes positively to society and the world. He said, “If you send me something and you want my input on it and I can be of service to you, and in my review of it, share with you how I reasoned through it, I’ve made a contribution to you.” The chief executive then specified that such exchange of information and ideas can be deemed as a way to empower oneself to tackle challenges and come up with optimal solutions.

Over a year later, on December 21, Elon Musk reposted the corresponding clip on his X (formerly Twitter) profile. He captioned the post, “This is the way.” Since its upload, the post has received over 16 million views and 118k likes at the time of writing. Many users on the platform appreciated Huang’s humility and professionalism, while others shared their skepticism regarding Musk’s work ethic as the chief executive of his own companies.
