She reposted four slides from the carousel post, and concluded her Instagram Story with a cuss-filled phrase. Directed towards Musk, Eilish’s story has become one of the biggest talking points on the social media platform.
After winning the approval of Tesla shareholders during a recent referendum at the company, Musk’s controversial $1 trillion compensation plan has been making headlines. Given the legal history associated with the package, the chief executive has faced quite a backlash over the huge pay check. Now, the pop singer’s story has further added fuel to the fire.

On November 11, the Instagram page @myvoicemychoiceorg uploaded a carousel post, titled “Elon Musk became the world’s first trillionaire here’s what he could do with it.” The carousel post is then followed by five slides, each addressing global issues – preventing world hunger, curing diseases, protecting endangered species, rebuilding Gaza, and putting an end to maternity deaths. The final slide in the post simple features an image of Elon Musk’s infamous salute gesture with the text, “What he does instead.” The post’s caption reads, “He could have solved world hunger, but instead he promoted fascism.“
Instagram users took to the comment section of the post to share their views on it. However, many of the recent comments stated that the users were directed to this post from pop artist Billie Eilish’s Instagram post from Thursday.
The ‘What Was I Made For?’ singer first reposted the title card of the carousel post. This was followed by Eilish reposting the slides on world hunger, saving endangered species and rebuilding Gaza. These reposts are in turn followed by the story in black with only the following words: “etc…. f*****g pathetic p**** b***h coward.“
This created significant buzz in the comment section of the original post by @myvoicemychoiceorg. There, users flocked in to express their opinion on Eilish’s attack on Musk’s financial position.
