During NVIDIA’s recent all-hands meeting this week, Jensen Huang made two important declarations. Obtained from a recording accessed by Business Insider, the NVIDIA CEO made it very clear that automation was a necessity at every step of any task. Thus, Huang insisted on the extensive use of AI technology at the company.
At the same time, Huang provided assurance to his employees that they would not lose their jobs due to AI utility. In the same meeting, the NVIDIA CEO highlighted the important role artificial intelligence is set to play in the days to come.
Thus, to him, it only seems fit for the largest GPU manufacturer in the world to make use of AI tools as much as possible. However, in the midst of the discussion, an employee stated the apparent distrust on the technology from the managerial level, which reportedly surprised the chief executive.
NVIDIA chief Jensen Huang considers not using AI tools “insane”
Business Insider got access to a leaked recording of NVIDIA’s latest all-hands internal meeting after the company made record sales recently. During the meeting, CEO Jensen Huang wholeheartedly encouraged his employees to make use of AI tools and models in order to automate tasks. In his opinion, automation will enhance efficiency, boost productivity levels, and contribute to the company’s growth.

Simultaneously, he assured the workforce that in NVIDIA, the employees will not be replaced by AI tools. He said, “I promise you, you will have work to do,” implying their hiring streak. The company’s workforce has gone up from about 29,600 workers at the end of the 2024 fiscal year to roughly 36,000 in the succeeding year. He further added, “Frankly, I think we’re probably still about 10,000 short.”
During a CNN interview in July this year, Huang had mentioned that AI would impact the work that is done and not the workers who make it happen. In his opinion, “If the world runs out of ideas, then productivity gains translate to job loss.” Thus, Huang believes “AI is the greatest technology equalizer we’ve ever seen.” He further stated, “It lifts the people who don’t understand technology.”
However, an important turning point in meeting emerged when an employee informed the CEO about the management discouraging employees from using artificial intelligence. As per the recording heard by Business Insider, Huang reportedly said, “My understanding is Nvidia has some managers who are telling their people to use less AI.” The CEO allegedly reacted, “Are you insane?,” adding, “I want every task that is possible to be automated with artificial intelligence to be automated with artificial intelligence.”

NVIDIA’s current position in the AI tech industry
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang appears to be quite optimistic about the positive impact of AI tech across the globe. At the same time, the chief executive has much faith on NVIDIA scaling greater heights of success as high demands for AI and higher investments keep pouring in. However, the company may anticipate the emergence of a rival AI chip manufacturer from among the tech giants themselves.

As per a Bloomberg report dated November 2025, Google’s parent company Alphabet has reportedly been involved in discussions regarding a possible launch of Google AI chips. This would undoubtedly create waves across the market and the tech industry as NVIDIA would have a competitor, one that is firmly rooted in the tech space.
Simultaneously, Alphabet’s market value has soared significantly since September this year. With the launch of Gemini 3, the gradient has been going higher and higher. Perhaps NVIDIA could expect a strong contender if the Google AI chip does come into being in the near future.
