In his post on X, Benioff seems visibly impressed by the big changes Google has brought forth in the third edition of Gemini.

In his latest post on X, Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff hailed praises for Google’s latest launch of Gemini 3. He wrote, “Holy ****. I’ve used ChatGPT every day for 3 years. Just spent 2 hours on Gemini 3. I’m not going back.” Benioff also complimented the quality of the results being delivered by the new AI version. He continued, “The leap is insane — reasoning, speed, images, video… everything is sharper and faster. It feels like the world just changed, again.” The post ended with a heart emoji and a robot-face emoji.

Marc Benioff’s X post also consisted of an article from The Wall Street Journal. It encapsulates the improvements made in Google’s Gemini 3 that helped the AI ace past the likes of ChatGPT. Crediting CEO Sundar Pichai to “overhaul the company’s AI development strategy,” the report acknowledged that the new version of the large language model may have raised the bar of excellence in AI technology. Besides the Salesforce CEO, Gemini 3 has also received compliments from OpenAI chief Sam Altman and xAI CEO Elon Musk last week.

How does Google’s Gemini 3 affect the ongoing AI race?
The Wall Street Journal article cited by Marc Benioff, dated November 22, threw light on the series of changes made in Gemini’s latest version that has seemingly swept across the internet. A major highlight has been the quality of the results delivered by the AI model. Tulsee Doshi, the senior director of product management overseeing the operations of Gemini, spoke of the “vibe checks” being tested to evaluate the AI’s performance.

Doshi stated that the team had been engaged with personal tests to see the progress of the latest version of Gemini 3. These tests consists of prompts asking the AI the for jokes and giving math problems to solve, as per the report.
Later, the employees agreed that Gemini’s potential has exceeded their expectations. Doshi’s query asked the AI to write in Gujarati, to which Gemini responded in an impressive manner. She said, “I call it signs of life, right? People were coming back and saying, ‘I feel it, I think we’ve hit on something.’”
Google’s Gemini 3 has given the tech giant the edge they had been looking for since the inception of ChatGPT three years ago. The swift data mining process accompanied by the phenomenal responses being provided by the AI model has surely helped Google to now become the frontrunner in the AI race at the moment.
